Boots
They are great! Just needs a lil more heal cushion. Thanks!

Not for Me
I bought these boots to wear in the field for my job, as I'm required to wear steel/composite toe boots. I was excited initially because it's hard to find women's-sized construction boots, but that ended as soon as I tried them on. They were very cheap looking - the rubber flashing that goes around the toe and sides was bulky and felt like it would peel away with use. The boot itself was comfortable in the heel, but not the toe (a combination of swimming in the toe box and lack of cushioning at the ball), and I knew I'd be in pain after 8 hours of standing/bending/squatting. Also, the boots simply would not tighten enough around my ankle (even with my thickest socks) to keep from slipping, and the laces didn't feel beefy enough to deal with over-tightening. Simply put, the shoe looked and felt bad. I know these boots are not a fashion statement, but they made my size 8 feet look tiny because the front of the boot is very short. I ended up returning them, which was a pretty easy process. They just weren't for me. I went back to the drawing board, and thanks to these boots, tweaked what I was looking for. Now I'm much happier with my composite toe tactical boots. They offer better ankle support, warmth, are lighter, and don't make my feet look like fairy's. All while being crush resistant, shock resistant and non-slip grip.
