A Good Starter Boot
Alright, Ladies, 3 months and a little less than 100 miles walked in these boots. (10-15 miles per week average). The Resin Sow's opinion is: A Good Starter Boot. Took me about a week and a half of off hour break in time. (Wore them before and after work, around the house, out playing with the kids, and even on a VERY wet/hell-would-be-cooler camping trip; which included 6 hour round trip drive time.) They broke in well, and really didn't leave me blistered when I was breaking them in. (I ordered a half size larger than I normally get and in wide.) They accommodate thick socks and a large ankle brace nicely. I work 12 hour shifts at a resin (the base material in plastics) plant; so I'm walking a lot, climbing in and out of a fork truck, climbing stairs, spilling chemicals, walking through chemicals, dirt, gravel, on hard concert, in glorified pole barns. I clean these boots twice a month with acetone (Yeah, nail polish remover.) And they've held up far better than I expected. The insole is nice!! Honestly, I don't need to add an insole to these boots. They are comfortable as is. Granted I take FAR better care of my boots than my co-workers; they dump their's in their lockers and forget them. When the treads build up with resin and dirt I tend to glide on tile, and avoid wool floors. However, about 40 minutes, a metal brush, a bucket of acetone, and an ice pick later... treads are damn near new. They boots get worked.... HARD! For a starter boot they're great! Will they make it the rest of the year... I doubt that highly. As far as a good steel toed boot is concerned... these were cheaper. They take the abuse well, and hold together better than I expected. They're comfortable, and roomy. I am starting to see some wear in the toe leather (because I'm kicking pallets more than I probably should to get them on a scale), and some minor splitting in the bendy areas (inside just behind the steel where my foot and the boot bend while walking). So, for like a 90-100$ boot; they're damn good, and I'm impressed. I will be getting new boots on the soon-ish; however, I'll definetly be going to RedWing/Boot Country for those. I WILL absolute order another pair of these for personal use. PS-thick ankled ladies... these are GREAT for y'all (I am a thicker ankle/calfed woman) because when I tie these good and tight (I have to or they would get pulled off my foot) they don't cut into my skin. BONUS! Hope this was helpful and y'all enjoy. <3TheResinSow

Very nice boot
Pricing was comparable and/or cheaper than other sites. These are really cute and comfortable. They run true to size. I work in construction so I am walking through job sites on a daily basis all day long. These have a really good cushion and and wicking for drawing water away. So far so good, don't have an issue with them

Boots are nice, but there is a hard spot on the inside by the small toe in both boots that is very uncomfortable. May return them. Nervous for return process/refund as part of my order was canceled and the rest took weeks to ship.
